Today was our first day of travel on this leg of our tour. We departed Salt Lake City at 9:30 A.M. Before we left, we had victorious prayer in the ascension of Christ and received a joyful send off from the local volunteers with much encouragement to fulfill many more divinely arranged appointments. After a safe journey, we arrived in Boise, Idaho at 4:00 P.M.

On the way, we stopped at a truck stop to refuel. While we were there, we passed out 32 brochures offering a free Recovery Version New Testament and six New Testaments. At the truck stop, one of the volunteers was speaking with a woman about the New Testament Recovery Version when the woman's husband came out of the store, approached the volunteer, and said, "I would like to have a job like yours, giving away Bibles." It turns out they give Bibles to prisoners and have been wanting a version the prisoners could understand.

As we were fellowshipping about our experience these last eleven days, one of the volunteers shared this testimony:

Before I went on this tour, spiritually speaking, I felt like a piece of dry kindling in an Arizona desert. While in Salt Lake City, I had seven days of unspeakable joy. Not only so, I met other believers who were volunteering just like me. We enjoyed fellowshipping and serving together in the gospel. Something eternal happened during that time.
