The BfA Update is intended as an encouragement for all those laboring in the distribution of Recovery Version New Testaments throughout America. We hope that, for everyone’s mutual encouragement, you all will send us reports of your experiences.

Bibles for America (BfA) will distribute free Recovery Version New Testaments at all 55 Bible Factory Outlet stores in 18 states on Saturday, November 22 to kick off a special Bible distribution event during National Bible Week™(November 23-30). Ten thousand free New Testaments and 40,000 brochures offering the free New Testament are slated for in-store giveaway.

"We believe that the Recovery Version New Testament is the best study Bible available today," said Tony Barba, BfA Direct Distribution Manager. "We are pleased to partner with Bible Factory Outlet to freely offer this gift to its customers, especially during this week when everyone is encouraged to read the Bible."

The special Bible distribution event will launch on Saturday, November 22 with teams of BfA volunteers visiting the 25 top-selling Bible Factory Outlet stores to personally distribute Bibles. During the week, table displays and posters will advertise the gift offer in all 55 stores, where store employees will help distribute New Testaments to patrons. After the weeklong promotion, those interested in the gift offer may contact BfA by mail, phone, or through BfA's Web site to receive their free Bible.

• Please pray for the distribution of free Recovery Versions and gift offer brochures at Bible Factory Outlet stores November 23-30. We look to the Lord for the means to carry out this distribution, and pray that He will lead many hungry and seeking people to receive the Recovery Version.
• Please pray for our preparation of an announcement to be sent to all of our subscribers in early 2004 regarding the release of the Recovery Version Holy Bible (Old and New Testament text and footnotes).
• Please pray for the preparation of a new BfA booklet for all of our subscribers on using the Recovery Version to better understand the Bible.
• Please pray for the three motor homes as they travel throughout this country in three regions, the East Coast, the Midwest, and the West Coast. May the Lord reach many who are seeking to know and understand the truth in the Word.
• Please pray for the continued participation in the mass-mailing program. Requests for Bibles have been streaming in as a result of mailings to 13 U.S. zip codes.
