Let His Word Run
This year's Let His Word Run, Bibles for America's (BfA's) second nationwide distribution event, concluded in November 2006 after one month of distributions. Participants in 96 cities distributed Bibles and Bible-offer brochures during the course of their daily lives, at venues such as college campuses and retail establishments, and by sponsoring the mailing of Bible-offer brochures to U.S. zip codes. Statistics are still being compiled, but to date, over 20,000 free Bibles have been distributed through volunteers and our motor home tours. Let His Word Run was BfA’s annual event for sowing the Word of God widely across the U.S. After sowing comes growing. To help foster the growth of the Word of God in Bible recipients, BfA is preparing training and study materials to equip volunteers to respond to Bible recipients who have requested fellowship and guidance in using the Recovery Version. Volunteers will be better prepared to aid Bible recipients in their reading and study of the Word.

Recent Seminars
Two seminars were hosted by BfA volunteers in Michigan and California in November. A small number of Bible recipients in Farmington, Michigan, attended a seminar at a local library on November 9. A seminar was also held at a hotel in Bakersfield, California on November 11. Local BfA representatives presented the unique features of the Recovery Version and also covered the topic "The Word." Another seminar is scheduled in January in the Farmington area.

BfA's Newest Motor Home
On November 14 and 15, Bibles for America's newest motor home made its debut at a Bible distribution event. The 39-foot vehicle, donated to BfA in December 2005, was parked in the center of the Orange Coast College campus (Costa Mesa, California) and attracted students to come by the distribution table to receive free Recovery Versions. BfA staff members from the Irvine, California, office helped man the distribution table alongside local volunteers.

The motor home traveled through the central California cities of Bakersfield, Visalia, Fresno, and San Luis Obispo in December for distribution events.

Please Remember in Prayer
Pray for those who received a Bible-offer brochure during the Let His Word Run event; pray that they would be moved to contact BfA to order a free New Testament Recovery Version. Pray that those who have already received a free Bible will open the Word and receive much light and life as they read.
