Current Motor Home Tours

Nearly 2000 Recovery Version New Testaments have been distributed in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa over the past three months by Bibles for America (BfA) motor home crew members and local volunteers. At every venue, whether on college campuses or at retail stores, volunteers have testified of the Lord's blessing as a result of the prayers of people across the country.

Mailing of Free Christian Literature Continues

Since February, Bibles for America has mailed over 15,000 packets of free Christian literature to Bible recipients. In addition to our distribution center near Los Angeles, we set up a new mailing center in Houston, TX this month to help collate and mail packets. Over the next few months, volunteers in Houston will mail up to 100,000 literature sets. May the Lord bless the sending out of the ministry literature to thousands of hungry hearts!

New Shipment of Bibles Arrives

BfA's distribution center near Los Angeles has received a new shipment of 100,000 Recovery Version New Testaments. Please pray that each Bible will be given to a hungry, genuine seeker of the Lord.

LA Festival of Books

We thank the Lord for the Bibles and gift offer brochures that were handed out at the LA Festival of Books, April 23-24. He abundantly exceeded our asking in prayer. Over 35 volunteers from three counties (Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange) helped distribute 750 Recovery Version New Testaments in two days. Some stayed well beyond their assigned time because they enjoyed sharing the Recovery Version with others; others came to the booth to visit and stayed for 30 minutes or more to help.

Please Remember in Prayer

Pray for the journey of the motor home and crew members as the vehicle leaves the Midwest and travels to Texas this month. May the preaching of the gospel and the distribution of the Word of God be unhindered. May the Lord lead many sons of peace (Luke 10:6) to the display table at every stop.

Pray that Bible recipients in the Midwest and the Los Angeles area will touch the Spirit as they read their new Recovery Versions. May God give them "a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Him" (Eph. 1:17).

Pray for the mailing out of thousands of free Christian literature packets to our Bible recipients. May these spiritual books enlighten readers and further open the Word of God to them!
