February Regional Distributions
In February, Bibles for America (BfA) conducted a number of distributions; nearly 11,000 Bibles were handed out by over 130 young adult volunteers who traveled to over 60 venues in every major region of the country. Their destinations included large state universities, small community colleges, Ivy League schools, and an array of retail centers in 17 states. We were so encouraged by the results of these distributions.

At a college in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, over 900 Bibles were distributed within 4 ½ hours, breaking all previous records of Bibles distributed in one afternoon. But it wasn't merely the number of Bibles given out on these trips that was heartening; it was seeing that people all over the country had a genuine interest in the New Testament Recovery Version. Our young volunteers were encouraged to see college students sharing their new Recovery Versions with their friends and urging them to get their own. The Lord surely answered our prayers by going before us and opening many hearts to the Word of God.

Florida Motor Home Tour
In March we conducted a motor home tour in Florida, visiting over 12 cities throughout the state. We noticed that the college students we met on this tour were seeking to know and understand the Word of God in a deeper way. We had many instances of sweet and meaningful fellowship with students using the Word and the footnotes in the Recovery Version. At one campus, a student prayed for BfA, and many other students and even faculty members thanked us for coming to distribute Bibles at their campus. Caring for Our Bible Recipients
As mentioned in the previous BfA Update, we are continuing to expand our programs assisting Bible recipients in their reading of the Word and spiritual pursuit. These programs include Christian literature mailings, facilitating Bible study groups, regional seminars, and providing other resources.

Upcoming Events
During our Gulf States Tour in April through May, our motor home will visit cities and towns in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

BfA will have a booth to distribute free New Testament Recovery Versions at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, to be held at the UCLA campus on Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30. This is our third year participating in this event, which usually attracts over 130,000 visitors from all over the world. Hundreds of Bibles have been distributed at the BfA booth in previous years and we pray that this year, the Lord would again bring many seekers to our booth to receive the Word of God.

Please Remember in Prayer
Pray that a seeking young generation would be raised up in the USA, that many would have a sincere heart for God's Word on the campuses. May many young lives be changed by the Word and given to the Lord for His purpose.

Pray for the Lord's blessing on the upcoming spring motor home tours, especially in those areas affected by last year's hurricanes. May He go before us to find all the people who are hungry and ready to receive the Word of God.

Pray that the Lord would bless the planning and carrying out of our new programs to take care of our Bible recipients.
