The BfA Update is intended as an encouragement for all those laboring in the distribution of Recovery Version New Testaments throughout America. We hope that, for everyone’s mutual encouragement, you all will send us reports of your experiences.

BfA Plans Spring Motor Home Trips

Three BfA motor homes will be on the road again this spring, with tour routes being planned in the Southeastern U.S. In addition to the widespread distribution of Recovery Version New Testaments, this year’s tours will also help facilitate fellowship between area volunteers and Bible recipients who have requested further contact and guidance in using the Recovery Version. Unlike previous trips, crew members may extend their stay at tour locations to join in weekly prayer groups and neighborhood Recovery Version study groups.

Please help support these Bible distribution trips by your praying, your giving, and your going. As with all BfA activities, we greatly depend on the prayers of the members of the Body of Christ for the Lord’s blessing on the Bible distribution. In addition, your financial contributions “unto the furtherance of the gospel” (Phil. 1:5) make it possible for others to read and enjoy God’s Word. We also have need of volunteers who are available to travel with the motor home crew members. Recovery Version Holy Bible Available
The Recovery Version Holy Bible (Old Testament and New Testament complete with footnotes, cross-references, and charts and maps) has been published by Living Stream Ministry and is available for purchase through the publisher or through local Christian bookstores. A discounted price is available for BfA subscribers who purchase the Holy Bible through the publisher; we will send out a special notification to all BfA subscribers soon. Additional Free Literature Available
BfA is preparing to send its subscribers more free Christian literature to help them read and understand the Bible, and grow in the divine life. A new booklet entitled “Using the Recovery Version, An Illustrated Guide to Understanding the Bible” will further enhance readers’ appreciation and use of the features of the Recovery Version. In addition, a line of books on living a normal Christian life called “Basic Elements of the Christian Life” will be available. All subscribers will receive these gift booklets in the mail later this year.

How You Can Participate: Mass Mailing Program
Give your fellow Americans the opportunity to receive a Recovery Version New Testament! Through BfA’s Mass Mailing Program, gift offer brochures may be mailed to any and all U.S. zip codes. Recipients may then follow the instructions on the brochure to request a free Bible. Over 81,000 brochures have been mailed to 19 U.S. zip codes to date. Please pray that the Lord would provide the volunteers and the finances needed to carry out these trips.
• Please pray for BfA’s preparation of the new booklet "Using the Recovery Version, An Illustrated Guide to Understanding the Bible". Please pray that this booklet will enhance people’s use of the Recovery Version and help them study and experience the rich truths in the Bible.
