Report Day 56: Tuesday, 12/11/2001


Tuesday, December 11, 2001 - This morning we gathered at nine o'clock to prepare the vehicles for the trip from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Tucson, Arizona. Our motor home needed some repairs, so we waited a short while for it to return from the shop.

We were on our way by ten thirty and made one stop in Hatch, New Mexico. In that tiny town, we gave away about fifty cards offering a free New Testament Recovery Version. One woman at the restaurant counter said that it was a very good idea for us to travel the country giving away free study New Testaments.

We arrived in Tucson, Arizona around six o'clock this evening after traveling through a heavy snowstorm. A group of volunteers met us and provided us with a delicious dinner and a time of fellowship.

We enjoyed these verses in God's Word today:

"Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and we are … Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been manifested what we will be. We know that if He is manifested, we will be like Him because we will see Him even as He is." (1 John 3: 1-2)
