For lunch we stopped at a restaurant in Amarillo, Texas. While there, we gave out at least seventy-one cards offering a free New Testament Recovery Version to the cooks, waitresses, and customers. Every response was positive, and most were quite grateful. After we left the restaurant, we stopped at a gas station. There were no other customers there, so we took the time to speak with the attendant to offer her a free Bible. When we read 2 Corinthians 4:7 with its footnotes with her, she wanted a Bible. Now there's at least one Recovery Version New Testament in the hands of a hungry Christian in Amarillo, Texas. From there we went on to Tucumcari, New Mexico, where we stopped again to refuel. We gave cards offering a free New Testament to the people getting their gas, as well as the attendant. We met a brother in the Lord who asked us to go to his old homestead to leave a brochure there. We were actually on his old road, so we went. Although his old home seems to have become a church, we put a door hanger offering a free New Testament Recovery Version on it. Maybe many there will call for their Bibles soon. Tonight we arrived safely in Albuquerque, New Mexico, having had a wonderful day of fellowship, prayer, and opportunities to offer the New Testament Recovery Version along the way. In
Christ,
