Report Day 53: Saturday, 12/08/2001

003Saturday, December 8, 2001 - This morning at eight thirty we met with nearly twenty volunteers from the Oklahoma City area to pray and plan for today's activities. We then headed for Mustang, a small town of less than 10,000, twenty minutes outside of Oklahoma City.

Once we were in Mustang, we formed teams and spread out into selected neighborhoods to place brochures on doors offering a free New Testament Recovery Version. By noon we passed out 1,720 door hangers. One team reported that a woman saw the team in her neighborhood and asked for a brochure as soon as they came to her door. She was ready to send it in right away. A volunteer had a Recovery Version to give her right away, and she was overjoyed to get it.

Later this afternoon, two volunteers went to wash the motor home at a truck stop. One of the volunteers suggested they put BfA brochures on all the trucks there. In a short while, sixty trucks had gift packs placed on their doors. Of the drivers they spoke with, nearly everyone gladly received the offer. They offered to give one trucker a Recovery Version on the spot, and with much joy he accepted the offer. We thank our faithful Lord that His mercy and grace reached many today who are so easily forgotten by society. May they all receive God's inheritance as they receive the word of His grace (Acts 20:32).

Worshipping our Lord,
The "Word of Truth USA" Crew
