Sunday, November 18, 2001 - This morning we gathered at six thirty in Cambridge,
Massachusetts and loaded the vehicles for the long journey to Washington,
D.C. By seven o'clock the caravan was once again on the road. Two hours
later we stopped at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London,
Connecticut, to visit a young brother who is a first-year cadet there. As
we snacked together on cookies and hot chocolate, we had a brief but enjoyable
time with him in the motor home. We gave him a good supply of BfA material
and Recovery Version New Testaments, which he intends to distribute to his
fellow cadets. There are over 1,200 enrolled at the Academy.
From there we traveled straight through on Highway 95, and at six thirty in the evening, we finally pulled into Dunn Loring, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C., where we were greeted by a group of volunteers. After we enjoyed dinner together, we had a rich time of fellowship, including testimonies from the BfA crew about the tremendous things the Lord has done these thirty-two days of the tour. We were all encouraged by what was shared. We realized that America today is a different America, one in which people's hearts have been prepared as never before to receive the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, embodied in the of the New Testament Recovery Version. Everywhere, hearts have been touched and deeply opened to receive this seed of the gospel of the kingdom. Now, as never before, is the time for us all to wake up, rise up, and go out to sow this seed. If we are faithful to go out to read to people the truths in the Recovery Version, we will see the increase of the Lord in this country. Worshipping the Lord for opening a door for His Word,
