Day 23: Friday, 11/8/2001 |

| Day 23, Thursday, 11/8/01 - We thank the Lord for bringing us to this day. We have now completed twenty-two days of our journey. After breakfast in a volunteer's home, we came together for a time of prayer and then loaded up the caravan with materials prepared last night. We also met up with three BfA volunteers who had traveled into Philadelphia last night and this morning to join us for our time in New York. Around noon, we departed Philadelphia filled with thanks to the Lord for the blessings we saw there and headed to New York City.
This evening, after a delicious meal with some volunteers, we gathered for a time to share our experiences of the past twenty-two days. The New York volunteers then told us stories of how the Lord has blessed them as they have gone out to preach the gospel to people and to offer them a free New Testament Recovery Version. We were mutually encouraged and marveled together at the Lord's work in so many hearts. Please continue to pray that the Lord's blessing would be multiplied and even surpass our increasing expectations. Grace to you all,

Our
trip was uneventful except for the fact that overpasses in New York can
be quite low. A few times we wondered whether the motor home would make
it through. Hallelujah! Thanks be to God Who always leads us in triumph
in the Christ! We made it through all of them and got into New York safe
and sound around four o'clock in the afternoon. At a prearranged location,
a group of volunteers warmly greeted us and served us tea and cookies
while we had a refreshing time of fellowship.
