Report Day 17: Friday, 11/2/2001

Friday, November 2, 2001 - At six thirty this morning the BfA motorcade and area volunteers went to the downtown commuter railroad stations—Northwestern Railroad (Metro) and Union station—to distribute BfA literature. Every day nearly 500,000 workers travel into the downtown area from the Chicago suburbs. A large percentage uses the train system for transportation into the city. Teams of BfA volunteers positioned themselves at strategic locations near the exits. As thousands of commuters poured out of the exit doors, we presented them with our material offering a free RcV. In just less than two hours we passed out about 14,000 offers. At nine o'clock we all left the downtown area to gather for brunch and to fellowship the day's experiences at a local volunteer's home.

Around eleven o'clock, we left the Chicago area and headed south to West Lafayette, Indiana, home of Purdue University. We pulled onto the campus at two o'clock in the afternoon and immediately began to pass out our BfA materials to the throngs of students there. The students were extremely receptive, and in one hour we gave away 67 free RcVs and 1,228 offers for a New Testament Recovery Version.

After this, we traveled south to Indianapolis and got there around six o' clock. We joined some interested in BfA for dinner and fellowshipped concerning the Lord's blessing on the two weeks of this tour.

Since we left Irvine, California on October 17, we have distributed nearly 45,000 pieces of BfA materials. Everywhere we have gone the response has been truly overwhelming, and we believe this is all because of the Lord's blessing.

The Lord Jesus said in Revelation 3:8, "I have put before you an opened door which no one can shut, because you have a little power and have kept My word and have not denied My name."

Praising Him for this opened door,
The "Word of Truth USA" Crew
