The three-vehicle caravan for the "Word of Truth USA"
tour left the Irvine Bibles for America office on Wednesday,
October 17 at 3:45 P.M.

This morning we left Fresno at six thirty and arrived in San Francisco at ten thirty.
During the trip to San Francisco, six of the crew members in the motor home
prepared 1,000 gift packets of BfA material for a distribution time in
San Francisco from 11:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.

We chose to set up our distribution base near City Hall in the downtown area
so we could reach a large number of people. Scores of people passing by were
greeted by our smiles and a gift offer of a New Testament Recovery Version

After breakfast we rendezvoused at the motor home for our first visit of the day,
Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill. Once at the motor home we found we couldn't
get in because of a problem with the door lock and had to call a locksmith.
After his much-appreciated work was completed, he happily received a RcV.

Our caravan of three vehicles left for the Marina Green area of downtown
San Francisco and arrived at noon. We promptly set up our literature distribution
tables. While some manned the tables, others talked to passers by.

We began this day by meeting with fellow believers in Sacramento at nine thirty
in the morning. After briefly fellowshipping concerning the Lord's charge for the
"Word of Truth USA" tour, the three-vehicle caravan departed for Roseville.
