More than 20 area volunteers joined us as we visited the Juneteenth Celebration in Denver this weekend to offer free Recovery Version New Testaments and gift offer brochures. On Saturday, our motor home was stationed at the event from six-thirty in the morning until eight o’clock in the evening. We gave out 400 Bibles and received 53 orders for Bibles that will be shipped from the Bibles for America office in Irvine.

On Sunday, we visited the event for four hours, from noon until four o’clock. Since we did not have very many Bibles left to distribute, we mainly passed out brochures people can use to request free Bibles be shipped to them. In two days, we distributed a total of 1500 brochures.

• A minister we met was so excited about receiving his Recovery Version that he wanted to enjoy a footnote every time we mentioned a verse! He gave us his contact information and invited us to contact him and join him to witness from door to door.
