We visited the River Walk in San Antonio and handed out 10 free Recovery Version New Testaments and 100 gift offer brochures to others at the park.It was difficult to speak with people who were jogging by,
so we decided to go to a Wal-Mart in Austin.

We got permission from the Wal-Mart store manager right away to park the motor home and set up display tables to give away Bibles. When the other volunteers arrived a little later, we couldn’t unload the Bibles and set up the display table fast enough! People were lined up ready to fill out request cards to receive Recovery Versions. An 89 year old woman came to get a Bible from us. She has really enjoyed reading the Bible since she got saved twenty years ago. She thanked us and said “God bless you and what you are doing.”

We saw many shinning faces. People were so hungry. A woman was gratefully took a Bible and told us that she wanted to pass the information on to her whole family.

Several volunteers from the San Antonio area helped us give out 174 Bibles. We were all encouraged by the openness and interest of those receiving Bibles. We gave out Bibles in both English and Spanish, and people were grateful to receive the interpreted Word. Praise the Lord for His move through BfA!
