The weather forecast indicated rain and thunderstorms for today. The store manager at Wal-Mart told us that if it rained, we could not reschedule our visit to distribute Recovery Version New Testaments at the store, so all of the Bibles for America volunteers prayed to the Lord to give us a clear sky.

After prayer, we set up our display table and people began to stop by. Some said, “You should see it; it is really storming down the street.” The Lord gave us a clear sky while much of the surrounding areas were rained on.

There was a young man who was interested in the Recovery Version and very happy to receive it. He was amazed to see that this version explains the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew and was excited that he could have a Bible that clearly interprets the book of Revelation. He left with much anticipation to read his new Bible.

We passed out over 900 pamphlets and gave away 96 New Testaments today.
